This armchair pays homage to Danish design and the creative legacy of Hans Wegner. It features a visually light structure with organically hand-shaped armrests, securely and durably anchored within the frame. This model channels Nordic inspiration through traditional craftsmanship, rooted in masterful joinery techniques.
Five Hundred Meters of Cord
The seat and backrest are meticulously handwoven from Danish cord, employing an exquisitely intricate traditional technique derived from Scandinavian artisanship. Each chair is crafted using nearly five hundred meters of natural material, with the weaving process alone requiring eighteen hours of dedicated work.
Handcrafted Detailing
The armrests, shaped by hand into smooth, organic contours, define the chair’s distinctive form. Crafting each armrest demands exceptional sensitivity to the material. The production of a single pair takes two full days, encompassing precise shaping, sanding, and finishing of the wood. The tactile form invites an instinctive touch, revealing the artistry of hand modeling, the precision of the finish, and the inherent warmth of natural wood.
