The LCH-33 armchair is a tribute to modernist architecture, distinguished by its purity of lines and proportions, as well as the noble materials used in its construction. Craftsmanship Details

Thirty-six brass pins ensure the structural integrity of the chair, while polished brass feet provide a sturdy and elegant base. Each of the six curved elements is formed from nine layers of 1.5-millimeter-thick wood sheets, steamed and bent, then laminated under a specially designed press. This technique yields components that are remarkably rigid and durable despite their minimal thickness.

Modernist Inspiration

The chair’s rounded corners are inspired by the arches characteristic of 1930s modernist buildings. The slatted backrest subtly echoes architectural motifs from the facades of that era. This substantial, weighty chair appears to float above the floor, supported by slender legs capped with polished brass fittings — a delicate reinterpretation of classic modernism’s principles.
